Dear fellow comforters,
This poem, written by our Leader at Pleasant View in 1901 is in line with a statement in the Comforter: “If we would open their prison doors for the sick, we must first learn to bind up the broken-hearted…”

As adherents to the teachings of the Comforter and as members of The Mother Church we embrace and express the qualities of Mother-Love — the purest form of love — inherent in all.
As members of The Mother Church and students of the Comforter, it follows that we all express the ability to comfort, to nurse. Serving in this way fulfills the reciprocal law of divine Love.
