Having just had family and myself in Ontario share care, hospitalization, then the passing and commemoration of a very close family member, then within two days, I had a strong fall and injury. I COULD NOT even mention this where I now live knowing I would be hospitalized. I was SO grateful I could, instead, call and request help from an available Christian Science nurse for needed care and spiritual support. This also meant that I did not even mention my need at all to family, freeing them from diverting their thought over to ME.
How wonderful! The Christian Science nurse did come. My human needs were met beautifully. Working with a Christian Science practitioner and the support of the Christian Science nurse I went forward spiritually and my needs were met without involving family. I have gone wonderfully forward.
