CCSNA September 2024 Newsletter

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”
(Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Dear Friends,

We joyfully share an update on our activity and a glimpse of our forward-moving vision.

We are grateful for the positive feedback to the ‘Letters to the Seven Churches’ talk by Kristy Christian of Biblos Foundation that we received. A total of 39 listeners hearing the words of the Founder. This can only bless Church.

We are also very grateful for the (unsolicited) donations that have come our way from branch churches. Our hope is that together with others we can establish a solid support system for independent Christian Science nurses in our region, thereby ensuring availability when needed. Love equally values the worker in the field to the worker in the facility. So must we.

To nurture a better understanding of this type of Christian Science nursing ministry, we will be arranging another series of church conversations to address FAQ’s about it. Here are a few of the questions we often hear and will answer.

How does private duty differ from a facility-based ministry?

  1. How “busy” are the private duty Christian Science Nurses?
Why should we pay them when they are not “busy”?
  2. How can we ensure availability when needed?
  3. How many field Christian Science Nurses do we really need right now?
  4. Who would qualify for funding support? Who would be the verifier for eligibility?

If you have more questions to add to the list, please be sure to send them along to ccsninformation@gmail.com.

We will be in touch with branch churches by month end to set up a convenient time to visit with you.
